So I finally got my schedule straightened out and I love it. They had me declared as a Food Science and Technology major [which is correct] but I was taking classes arranged for Fashion majors. Plus, I had this REALLY boring biology teacher. "Umm" and "Uhh" were his choice phrases/words. He gestured alot with his hands and would always look at the floor. Not good qualities in a lecture teacher.

Now, I'm Intro to Food Science, Foods for Life, World History, Trigonometry, Chemistry, and Survival Skills [for freshman; not to improve the outdoorswoman in me]. There's quite a bit of reading, but I find the classes far more interesting. Especially Intro to Food Science.

On another note, Kelly and I went to go see The Descent last night. First of all, it took us like an hour and a half to find this place thanks to faulty directions. Then, we sat in the theater parking lot and waited until the movie started. There was a baseball game right behind the theater and I guess they won because they set off fireworks. The alarms of the cars to to the left and right of mine started going off. If that didn't make us look guilty...

Anyway, the movie. I really think I would've been more scared if everybody in the theater wasn't talking the whole time. Granted, some of their comments WERE funny, but still ["What's with all them bones down there? It's like they got KFC or something! lol]

How I felt about the movie was about how I felt about Signs. The anticipation of seeing the creature was prolly the worst thing. The good thing is, the movies only cost us $5. Well, I'm off to check on my laundry.

So today was pretty long. It started out by me waiting for the buses to take me to the NASA Space & Rocket Center. I prolly spent more time waiting/riding the bus than actually at the center. They gave us one hour. I mean, I don't know how much more stuff I coulda seen though. I got Dennis some dog tags from there, cuz I knew that he would love being there. I got them with his name on em and everythig.

I was definitely 40 minutes late to class...but it's okay cuz it's college! I took an hour long nap and it was amazing.

So I get back and I go to class and we do the "Getting to know you" kinda deal. Then, the professor assigns ANOTHER assignment [The night before I was supposed to read the first three chapters of this textbook and write a response to an essay question that was distributed.]. You know what's stupid? I'm already behind because they sold out of the books at the store. You'd think that if the book was required, they would just put it into the cost of the orientation and give it to you, but no. And out of the 50 people in my group, only 4 people had the book. So, I'm down here for 4 days and they're already forcing me to procrastinate.

After that, we all got our schedules and I realized that I'm not taking the mandatory orientation class. Basically, if I don't take that class, there's no point in going to the university. And I it said I was taking classes that I already took in high school for college credit.

So I asked where I could go to clear things up, and they said to Buchanan Hall up the Hill. This "Hill" was no joke. I swear it seemed like I was climbing Everest for a second. It didn't help that It was like 95 here today. Then, I get there and they tell me that they're not seeing anymore students today. I'm like, "I just came from East Jesus and you not even open." So I gotta go back tommorow and I hope they can fix all this crap. That's all for now.

You wouldn't believe how many FZS Alumni/students I saw there.

Seeing Les Miserables made me miss being on stage. I'm talking like I'm a seasoned vet or something. I know I'm not. But when everybody was applauding the actors at the end, it made me think of the rush you get and the cheers for Grease from everybody that you knew [or didn't know]. I just liked the feeling, that's all. Unless you've tried it, you'd never understand. It's like mary jane...or something like that. It also made me want to practice my violin. Whoa. We played a Les Miz medley for our last concert, so I was reminiscing.

For future reference: If you are going to invite somebody to come to a concert or musical, make sure that you have tickets.
scurry dream or pointless entry?

I decided to fill you guys in on a dream that I had before I forget. While I cannot remember alot of it, I remember the jist/gyst/[or however the hell you spell it].

Well, I went on a vacation with my family and gus's family. Instead of going to Mexico which is where we really went, we ventured to a cartoon-type town. It was always nighttime and all the buildings sort of tilted the way they do in cartoons.

Apparently me and my brother Angelo were going on a plane ride. This was a plane that flew very close to the ground and fit two people. Well, we got REALLY close to the ground and somebody got caught in the propeller. It was some cartoon wolf. I think it was the one from that old Paula Abdul music video. So, we landed and were afraid that we would get caught so somehow we managed to auto-pilot the body and the airplane into a building and it blew up. All up in flames. Me and angelo watched the plane as it did and swore never to speak of it. I know. Pretty "I Know What You Did Last Summer".

We went back to our suite to find that people have been reported missing all day [or night, if you prefer] and that somebody was responsible, but they were not sure who. Then, the tv pulled one of those America's Most Wanted plugs. Both of the families started looking around the room thinking of who the criminal was.

The weird part was that my mind started doing a montage type of thing. Newspaper clippings. TV News. The crimes in action. Sort of like when you watch Superman Returns and Superman...well...returns and then the media's in a frenzy. I just remember ALOT of blood. Perhaps this is because of my recent viewing of

. Which, by the way, was a movie that I hated, yet loved at the same time. It was a horror flick that was different from any that they show nowadays. It had kind of an old horror flick feel, with the new appreciation for gore. It was definitely original. It also got me pissed off instead of scared--something that has never happened. Highly recommended no matter what reviews and word-of-mouth has told you; however, be warned that you shouldn't watch it alone and should carry some type of toy weapon that you can feel safe with.

...and then I woke up. And now you're thinking, "That was a waste of a minute [two of you're a slow reader] of my life!" Maybe. Maybe. But I just wanted to repost it to remember what an acid trip of a dream I had in the summer of '06.

So the Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert on friday was fantastic. I gotta say tho, i wasn't too familiar with the Counting Crows' music, but was totally feelin it. I think I was the only one in our group that liked them better than Goo Goo Dolls. They had a different sound.

Then, on Saturday I went to visit Gus at her new place of work [will remain undisclosed for privacy], and Angelo and I gave her a bag of those Harry Potter Bertie Botts Jelly Beans. I gotta tell you, that sardine flavor still hasn't left my mouth.

It's these things that make me already miss home. I'm finally starting to hang out with people i SHOULD'VE been hanging out with all this time [the free concerts help this benefit]. Welp, off to see Click!

I was supposed to go to Red Robin with Tha Crew, but i guess not. Casey's freshman orientation is taking forever. I guess i'll get back to Time Crisis III for PS2. It's a real stress reliever. Shooting [fake] people. I should prolly do my college stuff. I'm such a procrastinator.

I'm going to see the Omen tonight with my brothers and Jolina. I don't really wanna see it, but the thought of Dennis seeing a thriller makes me laugh in itself. He's so funny. When we watch at their house, he's like gripping a pillow and talking out loud and screaming...ah, i can't wait until he's in front of people.

And after the movie....DAVE AND BUSTERS!!! I swear, it's a weekly thing now. It should be fun.
